Imagine a place filled with snowflakes, toys, friendly animals, reindeer, and even old St. Nick himself. It's not the North Pole - It's Lights of Hope in Anderson's Darwin Wright Park. This year's illuminated wonderland is open Thanksgiving Day to Christmas Day.More than 8,000 carloads of people drove through Darwin Wright Park last year to view the millions of lights that illuminate animated Santas, shooting stars, Christmas trees, and reindeer. This year's displays will magically tranform the park into a family-oriented Christmas light spectacular. The show offers a variety of both large illustrations and animated presentations. Expect animated displays, toy trains, angels, snowmen, and more! Lights of Hope is a 7/10 of a mile drive through Christmas display located in Darwin Wright Park (Anderson beach) Darwin Wright Park is just off Liberty Highway in Anderson, SC. Lights of Hope has been operating for 14 years and has raised over $460,000 for children and adults with physical and mental disabilities in the Anderson / Pickens /Oconee area. It takes about 20 minutes to drive through the display. All funds raised by Anderson Lights of Hope stay in these counties. The event is operated by an all volunteer staff.
