Leadership Greenville Alumni annually recognize a graduate of the Leadership Greenville Program for their outstanding civic and community contributions with the Distinguished Alumni Award. This year's winner is Dr. Juduith S. Prince. Dr. Prince is Vice Chancellor of the University of South Carolina Upstate Greenville Campus. In this role she is responsible for coordinating academic and student programs offered in Greenville, operations oversight, and community relations.
Dr. Prince was a member of Class 30 of Leadership Greenville and served as Chair of the Board of Regents for Leadership Development Programs as well as chair of the Leadership Development Issues Series. So far in 2011 alone, she has received the Amy K. Stubbs YWCA Women of Achievement in Education in 2011, the Rotary Club of Greenville Career Award, and the Calder D. Ehrmann Outstanding Individual Award for Diversity from the Riley Institute at Furman University. (Image provided by Centre Stage)

Dr. Prince earned a doctorate in higher education from the University of Georgia and participated in the Harvard Management Development Program and the Millennium Institute of the Association of State Colleges and Universities. She has traveled extensively to China, Egypt, South America, Australia, Europe, Africa, and in the United States to learn about other cultures and other people, focusing on the experiences of women in other cultures.
