The Greenville Chamber Singers Perform at the John Knox Presbyterian Church on December 1


"Tis the Season for Hope, Love, and Joy" is the theme for the annual Christmas concert by the Greenville Chamber Singers. The concert will take place in the sanctuary of John Knox Presbyterian Church, located at 35 Shannon Drive, Greenville, SC 29615, on Wednesday, December 1 at 6:30 PM.

Familiar favorites as well as new music will be performed by the women's chorale to put everyone in the Christmas mood. The Greenville Chamber Singers began in 1996 and is under the direction of Angela Lemere who also serves as choral director at Dorman High School, and associate choral director for the Berea First Baptist Church Music Ministry.

The Greenville Chamber Singers will be singing on Friday evening, December 3 for the evening candlelight tour at the Biltmore House. Auditions for this group are held every spring and fall. For more information, please go to www.greenvillechambersingers.org or contact Sara Kellar at 864-288-5700.

The Greenville Chamber Singers, an auditioned women's ensemble, share an exuberant love for choral music and a strong commitment to ongoing growth as performers. Members' previous experiences include high school and college choruses, church choirs, and other community musical groups. Traveling and performing in the Southeast, The Greenville Chamber Singers, which is applying for non-profit (c)(3) status, is a musically versatile ensemble that focuses on community service.
