As cleanup efforts continue, the fire department reminds residents that outdoor burning of yard debris is prohibited. This includes downed trees and limbs. Fires used for cooking or contained in approved enclosures are allowed.
TRAFFIC SIGNALS
City traffic engineers report there are currently 181 signals out of 207 in operation.
DEBRIS REMOVAL
A total of 19 city crews are moving debris and opening the roads. The city will have 24 crews working on Wednesday.

Two staff pilots are continuing to fly the drones today for FEMA assessment footage and expect to be finished by the end of the week.
CITY FACILITIES
- Thursday’s Planning Commission meeting is canceled. All applications for this month will be considered at the November meeting.
- Cleveland Park and neighborhood parks are being assessed damage.
EMERGENCY SUPPLIES & SERVICES
A distribution site for bottled water and self-contained meals is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 35 E. Antrim Drive.
A Medical Needs Shelter is open at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena for those who have electricity-dependent medical needs along with their caregivers. You are encouraged to call the SC Department of Public Health in advance at 1-855-472-3432.
As residents clean up, the city encourages you to report your damage through the SC Emergency Manager App, available in the App Store or Google Play. This will help with damage assessment and request for federal assistance.
