Celebrating back-to-school season, this year’s United Way Night features a wide variety of meaningful experiences perfect for the entire family:
DISTRICT 356 UNITED WAY EXPERIENCE (5–7 P.M.)
Join us just outside the stadium at District 356, where we’ll have music, interactive games, and a “Stuff the Bus” donation drive for back-to-school supplies and non-perishable food items (you can find a list of needed items below). Those making a donation will be rewarded with a complimentary single scoop of Sweet Caroline’s ice cream at the game that night.
Attendees can also participate in onsite volunteer opportunities, including packing teacher appreciation bags and student menstrual kits, or filming a special thank-you message to school staff to help kick off the year.
BALLPARK GATES OPEN (6 P.M.)
The party will continue throughout the game with special programming celebrating the game-changing impact of United Way donors and volunteers. United Way community partners will also be on hand around the concourse to share fun educational activities and other local resources available to families as they prepare for the school year.
FIRST PITCH OF THE GREENVILLE DRIVE GAME VS. THE WILMINGTON BLUE ROCKS (7 P.M.)
United Way of Greenville County: The people, the organization, and the years of community impact will be prominently featured and showcased across all aspects of the Drive game all night long!
Don’t forget to wear your Hands On Greenville Day shirt for a $5 ballpark voucher.
