The biggest annual festival in Spartanburg, Spring Fling returns to the calendar April 22-24.

Friday night features the biggest tailgate party in Spartanburg as The CRIT brings thousands of cyclists to downtown to tackle the streets in the “Fastest Night in Spartanburg.”

The streets will be lined with dozens of food and drink vendors, rides and games for all ages and musical performances throughout the day on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24.

New this year will be Breweries on Broad, a special feature for craft beer fanatics. Broad Street will play host to local and regional breweries, and $20 gets you tastings of 15 brews of your choosing from 1-5 PM Saturday and Sunday.

This weekly music series on Main Street at NOMA Square opens at 5:30 p.m. and closes at 9:30 p.m., with bands playing two sets at 5:50 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. NOMA Square chairs go fast, so bring a tailgating chair if you are not arriving early.

Get ready to relive some of the best decades worth of tunes at Spartanburg’s newest music series, Flashback Fridays! Each concert performed in this series will feature a different style of music – we’re talking all of the jams from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and more!

Beverages are available for purchase (Anyone wishing to purchase an alcoholic beverage must be 21 years of age and must show a valid ID) and after the show, Downtown Spartanburg’s fantastic restaurants have dinner covered.

Passengers will enjoy a full service All-Adult First Class ride in our First Class cars with a private attendant and plush, well-appointed dining seating. A narrator will accompany the ride to present each pour to guests and share knowledge and history of the wines selected. Passengers on this specialty car will enjoy an exclusive sampling of cheeses and a surf and turf meal prepared fresh.

We have carefully selected our wine samples to accompany the meal. All passengers will receive a GSMR souvenir stemless wine glass, four samples of selected wine, and a dessert that’s perfect

Uncorked is offered on the Nantahala Gorge Excursion departing on April 23, May 7, June 4, July 30, Aug 6 & Sept 3.

Chef Bob & Bradley will be roasting oysters on the Lawn at Drayton Mills.
